Glastonbury Tor

The dramatic and evocative Glastonbury Tor dominates the surrounding countryside and offers spectacular views over Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire.

At the summit of this very steep hill an excavation has revealed the plans of two superimposed churches of St.Michael, of which only the 15th Century tower remains.
