Ebbor Gorge

Ebbor Gorge National Nature Reserve is a largely wooded site occupying a prominent position on the southern escarpment of the Mendip Hills above the City Of Wells. The scarp at this point is cut by two valleys - The Hope Wood Valley, which has an active stream and Ebbor Gorge, a dry limestone gorge.
